JUVEDERM

Juverderm uses the popular filler hyaluronic acid, and the range consists of three different sizes of gel particle specifically designed for use in certain areas of the face. Juvederm gels are indicated for injection into the mid to deep dermis (below the outer layer of skin) for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases running from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth, aka smile lines or parentheses). 

Juvederm ULTRA 2:
 (2 x 0.55ml syringes, 30G needle) Juvederm Ultra 2 is an injectable gel, 3D hyaluronic acid, with 0.3% Lidocaine, a local anesthetic; it treats moderate lines around the lips and corners of the eyes, and those close to the surface of the skin.

Juvederm ULTRA 3:
(2 x 0.55ml syringes, 27G needle) Juvederm Ultra 3, a thicker injectable gel, 3D hyaluronic acid, with 0.3% Lidocaine, allows more versatility in contouring and volumising, facial lines and naso-labial folds, filling deeper wrinkles and enhancing lip volume. Also enhances lip contour and volume.

 Juvederm ULTRA 4:
(2 x 0.8ml syringes, 27G needle) Juvederm Ultra 4, the thickest formulation, hyaluronic acid, with 0.3% Lidocaine, is recommended for volumising and correction of deep wrinkles and for facial contouring, including lip volume. This formulation should not be injected into the glabella (frown lines) or into the areas under the eyes.
