Freezing can bring out even more flavor from this mouthwatering Moroccan-inspired dish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8 Tips to Help You Freeze Tasty, Healthy Dinners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Making food in advance buffers those nights when life is too hectic (or you\u2019re too tired) to cook. Get the most out of your freezer meals with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tasteofhome.com\/article\/freezing-food\/\">a few pro tips<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Avoid putting hot food in the freezer.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A steaming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbcgoodfood.com\/howto\/guide\/top-tips-freezing-food\">hot dish will warm up your freezer<\/a>, thaw nearby foods, and it could give pathogens a foothold. Cool cooked foods to room temperature on the counter, then store them in the freezer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Remove air when packing food.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Freezer burn isn\u2019t a safety hazard, but it dehydrates and discolors food. To <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marthastewart.com\/1540194\/how-prevent-freezer-burn-home\">prevent freezer burn<\/a> and retain the texture of your dish, minimize how much air is in direct contact with the food. Along with reducing breakage concerns, secure lids make it easier to stack and <a href=\"https:\/\/myfreezeasy.com\/organize-freezer-meals\/\">organize your freezer meals<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Label dishes.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The time you could save on busy nights goes to waste if you have to rummage the freezer trying to remember what meals you froze. Use a permanent marker to label containers with the dish\u2019s name and prep date on a piece of<a href=\"https:\/\/tapeauthority.com\/freezer-tape-vs-masking-tape\/\"> freezer tape<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6.
