FOLBEE TABLETS (MULTIVITAMINS)
Folbee Tablets Description
Folbee Tablets contain vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and Folic Acid (B9) prescribed for those that are not including enough of these vitamins in their diet, are dealing with stress, consume a lot of coffee, smoke, or have medical problems including low thyroid hormone levels and kidney disease. If this sounds like you, you may have elevated levels of an amino acid called homocysteine. Although amino acids may not sound important, they are the buildings blocks of proteins that are essential for your body to produce and repair cells, make enzymes, and is important for every cell in your body. Having high levels has been indicated as a possible risk of a heart attack, stroke, or blood clots.
When taken as directed, B6 vitamin will help your body make antibodies you need to fight numerous diseases, sustain proper nerve function, and make hemoglobin that transports oxygen in your red blood cells to tissues in your body. In addition, this vitamin is also important for regulating your moods. Vitamin B9, called Folic Acid or Folate, is an essential part of a woman’s pregnancy to help guard against a miscarriage, anemia, and birth defects known as neural tube defect which includes spina bifida. Vitamin B12 is Cyanocobalamin and is required by your body in order to use the Folic Acid as well as making red blood cells and keeping a strong central nervous system.
Conditions Treated by Folbee Tablets
There are certain factors that can be the cause of your high homocysteine level. The most obvious are a diet poor in leafy green vegetables, fruit, fish, dairy, meat, and poultry. Or you may be dealing with daily stress, drinking too much coffee, and smoking. The medical reasons for too much homocysteine include low thyroid hormones, kidney disease, or a rare inherited disease called homocystinuria that stops your body from being able to process methionine, an essential amino acid.
Healthy individuals have a gene called cystathionine beta-synthase (CBS) that instructs enzymes how to use vitamin B6 in order to metabolize homocysteine and serine. Mutations to CBS interfere with the instructions and fail to metabolize these amino acids, resulting in raised levels of homocysteine and other toxins that can damage the brain and your vascular system.
