Zortress (generic name Everolimus) is a transplant medicine used to prevent transplant rejection in people who have had a liver or kidney transplant.

What are the side effects of Zortress (Everolimus)?

The most common Zortress side effects include:

  • Headache
  • Fever
  • High blood pressure
  • Loose or frequent stools
  • Nausea, or feeling sick to your stomach
  • Stomach aches
  • Hard, or difficult to pass stools
  • Leg swelling
  • Changes in blood tests, including low red blood cells, low white blood cells, or increased cholesterol and triglycerides (fats in the blood)
