Various governments around the world are responding to the new omicron variant with travel bans and restrictions which are resulting in flight cancellations internationally. Many customers are asking us whether parcel delivery times will be affected since worldwide mail systems, including the ones that transport the medications we supply to you, use commercial passenger planes to get parcels to their destinations. If disruptions to air travel continue, there could be delays in delivery. Curtailing of commercial passenger flights was the primary reason for delivery delays during earlier surges of the pandemic.
At this time, however, it is too soon to tell whether delivery times will be impacted beyond the typical slowdowns at Customs and USPS due to the higher volume of clearances and deliveries during the holiday season. Please be assured that we will do everything we can to ensure parcels arrive as quickly as possible and keep you updated through our newsletter, website and call center.
